Producer Rodrigo Teixeira will receive the inaugural Árbol de la Vida Visionary Award at the GuadaLAjara Film Festival on 6 November, Variety reported. Actor Wagner Moura is set to present the award ahead of a screening of the James Gray film Paper Tiger, which Teixeira produced. The GuadaLAjara Film Festival serves as the Los Angeles offshoot of the Guadalajara International Film Festival. [1][3]
The honor recognises individuals who have created a lasting impact on cinema while strengthening cultural ties between Latin America and the international film community, Variety reported. Teixeira has produced international films through his production company RT Features, including Frances Ha, The Witch, Call Me by Your Name, The Lighthouse, Ad Astra, and I am Still Here. [1][4]
