The new feature film adaptation of Street Fighter grossed four million dollars in United States previews, according to reports from The Movie Blog, Yahoo, and Variety. The Hollywood Reporter also reported that the film earned four million dollars in previews. However, ComicBookMovie.com and IMDb both reported that the preview earnings fell behind those of Mortal Kombat II. [1][2][4][5][8][9][10]

Despite trailing Mortal Kombat II during early preview screenings, IMDb noted that Street Fighter aimed for a franchise best domestic debut. ScreenRant and Deadline reported that the feature earned 31 million dollars during its opening weekend, breaking an all-time box office record for the video game film franchise. [4][5][6][7]

Meanwhile, Yahoo, The Hollywood Reporter, and Variety reported preview figures for You Can See Everything. Yahoo placed its previews at two million dollars, while Variety reported 1.75 million dollars and The Hollywood Reporter reported 1.7 million dollars. Deadline later reported that You Can See Everything crossed a milestone of over 12 million dollars. [6][8][9][10]

Capcom originally developed and published the first Street Fighter as an arcade game in 1987. As FTMQ Film & TV reported earlier, Legendary Pictures produced the new movie adaptation, which was directed by Kitao Sakurai and released in theaters on October 16, 2026. [12][13][14]
