Takashi Yamazaki's kaiju feature Godzilla Minus Zero has debuted to strong critical and audience reception following its launch, Rotten Tomatoes reported. The publication noted that the film is Certified Fresh after premiering at the New York Film Festival and has achieved a 96 percent score on its Popcornmeter. [1]

Director Takashi Yamazaki addressed potential plans for a third franchise entry in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, reporting there is a 50-50 chance of another installment, according to ComingSoon.
