K-pop artist Jisoo, a member of the girl group Blackpink, has co-written an original track titled Sun Showers for the upcoming animated feature film The Angry Birds Movie 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The single will appear within the movie itself and will be featured in the project's upcoming trailer. ComingSoon separately reported that a new trailer for the animated comedy feature is scheduled for release on November 4, 2026. [1][6][8]

The single's official album cover art incorporates a character named Shumon, a dustball creature that Jisoo originally created during her middle school years prior to her music debut, The Hollywood Reporter said. The singer stated that seeing her personal creation brought to life for the motion picture was deeply meaningful to her. [1]

Jisoo debuted in August 2016 as part of the South Korean group Blackpink under YG Entertainment, with the group subsequently establishing itself among the highest-selling female vocal groups globally [11]. The underlying film franchise began with the 2016 animated release The Angry Birds Movie, an adaptation of the mobile video game property directed by Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly from a screenplay by Jon Vitti [10]. [10][11]

The third film in the animated franchise features a voice cast that includes comedy actors Tim Robinson and Danny McBride, according to ComingSoon. Further details regarding the feature film's full theatrical release timetable and commercial distribution partners have not yet been announced. [1][6]
