Friday Night Lights Cast Reunites for James Talarico Campaign Ad

Cast members from the television series Friday Night Lights have featured in a campaign advertisement for Democratic candidate James Talarico in the Texas U.S. Senate race. Deadline, IMDb, and Chron reported that actors Connie Britton, Jesse Plemons, and Adrianne Palicki appeared in the video dropped over the past weekend ahead of the election on November 3. [1][4][5]

The campaign spot uses the high school football team slogan clear eyes, full hearts, can not lose to promote Talarico as he begins a statewide tour. Deadline reported that the advertisement aims to mobilize Texas voters in the final stretch of the election campaign. [1]

Talarico is a member of the Texas House of Representatives who serves as the Democratic nominee in the 2026 U.S. Senate election. IMDb noted that musical group The Chicks also backed Talarico, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. joined opponent Ken Paxton in the Texas Senate contest. [4][8]
