The second series of The Celebrity Traitors concluded on Friday, drawing an average overnight audience of 11.2 million to 11.23 million live viewers on BBC One. BBC News and Deadline both reported that the 80-minute finale set a record ratings high for the format, topping the previous record of 11 million set during the previous year's finale. According to Deadline, the broadcast peaked at 11.6 million viewers as the winner was revealed. [1][2]

Actor Sebastian Croft and comedian Romesh Ranganathan emerged as joint winners, according to reports from BBC News, The Hollywood Reporter, and Variety. The two Faithfuls split the £83,000 prize pot for their selected charities, with Croft donating his portion to Choose Love and Ranganathan choosing the Refugee Council, The Hollywood Reporter said. Croft told BBC Newsbeat that he was relieved to finally be able to speak publicly about the victory. [1][4][5]

The reality competition spinoff, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, began its second season with 21 celebrity contestants competing to uncover hidden Traitors within the group. As FTMQ Film & TV reported earlier, the show was renewed for three additional years following the success of its initial run. [1][3][4][12][13]
