Watchmaker Omega launched its new James Bond and Spectre watch collection and held a preview of a 007 exhibition at its boutique on Tuesday night, Variety reported. The event at The Americana at Brand mall in Glendale was held to mark James Bond Day on October 5. [1]

Variety reported that the exhibition includes props from multiple films across the James Bond series, such as the character's passport, toothbrush, and mini car bombs. dscene magazine and Haute Time both reported on the exhibition, describing the Glendale installation as an archive dedicated to the franchise. [1][6][8]

The brand partner activation comes as casting speculation around the next James Bond film continues. ComingSoon and The Hollywood Reporter both reported that four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan addressed rumors that her husband, actor Jack Lowden, could be cast as the next James Bond. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Gary Oldman previously claimed that his Slow Horses co-star Lowden was on the shortlist for the role. [2][4]

Speaking to the Associated Press, Ronan stated that she and Lowden are getting on with their lives and that the casting rumors are not a subject that comes up in their house, The Hollywood Reporter and ComingSoon both reported. Throughout the film franchise, Q Branch has equipped Bond with specialized gadgets and vehicles, such as the Aston Martin DB5, which feature modified weapon systems. [2][4][10]
