Actor Joel Kinnaman will star as Central Intelligence Agency officer John Nixon in the upcoming eight-part TNT series High Value Target: The Hunt for Saddam, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The drama features Kinnaman interrogating Iraq ruler Saddam Hussein, played by Waleed Zuaiter, as officers seek weapons of mass destruction. [1]

The project expands Kinnaman's current slate of television engagements. ScreenRant reported that Apple TV has recently renewed the crime drama series Imperfect Women for a second season, extending the program beyond its original limited series order. [2]

Kinnaman previously played NASA astronaut Ed Baldwin in the Apple TV science fiction drama series For All Mankind between 2019 and 2026. His television career also includes lead roles as Detective Stephen Holder in AMC's The Killing and Takeshi Kovacs in Altered Carbon. [5][7]
