Documentary filmmaker John Wilson is directing a new concert feature covering musician Harry Styles and his Together, Together tour, according to reports from AV Club, IndieWire, and Variety. Universal Pictures Content Group is behind the project, which Variety reported exclusively. IndieWire confirmed that the feature is being produced for Universal's specialized distribution arm. [1][2][3][4]

According to Variety, Wilson has been filming behind the scenes with Styles at Madison Square Garden since August. IndieWire noted that social media users had previously spotted Wilson filming the musician. Variety and IndieWire both report that the documentary captures Styles during his historic residency at the New York venue. [2][3]

The project follows Wilson's feature debut, The History of Concrete, which was released earlier in 2026. Executive producers on that film included Josh Safdie, Eli Bush, and Ronald Bronstein. Wilson previously created and directed the HBO comedy docuseries How To with John Wilson. [1][2][3][11][12]

During his Madison Square Garden run, Styles performed an unreleased acoustic song titled What Is Enough as a tribute to his late One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, Deadline and The Wrap reported. Neither Universal Pictures Content Group nor representatives for Styles have announced an official theatrical release date or distribution schedule for the completed documentary. [2][3][5][7]
